Support and Maintenance

All websites need to to be properly supported and maintained. We offer a service which covers all the necessary basics, and a bit more. The Support and Maintenance Plan doesn’t stop with us updating software on a regular basis. Through taking care of many different aspects, your peace of mind and the stability of your website remains our responsibility.

Many of our website tools come in the form of premium plugins. While there are often free alternatives available, we prefer to use reliable tools which work well and are properly supported by their vendors. The cost of these premium plugins is bundled into the Support and Maintenance Plan fee.

As we are primarily responsible for the stability and integrity of your website, we ensure that no additional parties access the back-end of the website. This means we don’t allow our clients to have administrator access to the back end.

Cost Structure

  • First two months after Go-Live: Free
  • Remainder of the first year: R250 per month
  • After the first year: R440 per month
The Support and Maintenance Plan covers:
  • General website support
  • Website hosting (with Xneelo)
  • Annual domain renewal
  • Basic email setup (with Xneelo)
  • Regular software updates
  • Software licensing for Divi theme and other premium plugins
  • Image optimisation with Imagify
  • Contact forms with Gravity forms
  • Performance enhancement with WP Rocket
  • Anti-spam on contact forms with Captcha
  • Periodic performance monitoring, to ensure the website is operating quickly and efficiently
  • Uptime monitoring
  • SSL Certificate supplied by Xneelo (for https encryption)
  • Website security with Wordfence
  • Daily backups to two locations. One is with Xneelo, and another on a secure Dropbox account.
  • Disaster recovery
  • Small changes. These are simply basic changes made to the website from time to time, such as changing text, emails, phone numbers, swopping out photos, etc.
